Weight:
When I started this week, I weighed 232.6 pounds. Today, my new weight is 228.8 pounds. That’s a loss of 3.8 pounds. I’m excited to be out of the 230s! Today’s weight puts me at 84.4 pounds lost in 26 weeks.
On the way home from work today, I got curious about what I weighed around this time in 2009. I called my old doctor’s office in Texas to check, and spoke to the office manager. According to my chart, my weight on 30 April, 2009 (one of my last appointments before I moved away from Texas) was 328 pounds! That puts me at a hundred pounds lighter today than I was last spring. Even more astounding to me is that my medical records show that in April 2007 (when I was hospitalized with out of control diabetes), I weighed 342.
Exercise:
This week (5-11 July) I ran a total of 18.5 miles, and biked for a total of 16 miles. I have completed week 5 of my 12 week weight lifting routine for the second time, because after finishing week 6, I decided to go back and start at week 5 again.
Week in review:
This week was a great week for me. I worked out. I worked hard. I lost weight. I also celebrated six life-changing months yesterday.
I have lost 58.20% of the total weight I want to lose.
